CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY

CONFLICT OF INTEREST & DISCLOSURE

Transparency is essential to maintain the trust and integrity of the peer review and publication process. We require all parties involved (authors, reviewers, and editors) to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Authors must explicitly disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived as a conflict of interest or bias their research.
  • Reviewers must decline the invitation to review manuscripts if they have a conflict of interest, such as recent collaboration with the authors, direct competition, or a close personal relationship.
  • Editors will recuse themselves from making decisions on manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest and will delegate the decision-making process to another qualified member of the editorial board.
  • Funding sources, grants, and sponsors supporting the research must be clearly acknowledged in a dedicated section within the manuscript.
  • Failure to disclose significant conflicts of interest may result in the rejection of the manuscript or subsequent retraction if discovered post-publication.
